Notification on interruption of time limits in Turkey due to COVID-19 pandemia
Dear Colleagues and Clients,
We would like to kindly inform you on the measures taken by Turkish authorities regarding the COVID-19 pandemic situation, published at the Official Gazette as of March 26, 2020.
Due to measures regarding COVID-19 outbreak, the time limits falling between March 13, 2020 to June 15, 2020 – including those dates – in legal proceedings related to industrial property law as well as proceedings at Turkish Patent and Trademark Office have been suspended.
With this regulation, all periods regarding the birth, use or end of a right including those related to compulsory administrative remedies and final terms are suspended during the indicated time interval.
Kindly be informed that business at the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office continues as usual as well as in our office. All filings will continue to be received, examined and published as usual at the authorities and we will keep on providing our services fully.
