Irmak YALÇINER ÖKTEM is a registered Turkish patent and trademark attorney working as a partner at Yalçıner Patent since 2007. She holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree from Middle East Technical University, Department of Industrial Design. She has experience in industrial property implementations, infringement and invalidity analysis, particularly in trademark and design registration and prosecution.

She has worked as WIPO Consultant at The Hague Unit on developing guidelines on proper disclosure of industrial designs in 2014. She is also serving as the President of AIPPI Turkey, Chair of AIPPI Nominating Committee, member of AIPPI Designs Standing Committee and member of FICPI Designs Committee. She has publications on design registration implementations covering different jurisdictions. She gave lectures on design law implementations at Atılım University in Ankara. She is a member of AIPPI, FICPI INTA and the PEM Turkish Patent and Trademark Attorneys’ Association.
